The most popular travel destinations for 2023 – will they be on your 2023 travel list?
The first location on CNBC’s list of the best travel destinations for 2023 is Vancouver, Canada. Vancouver is a diverse social hub. It’s full of interesting adventures and activities and an abundance of nightlife.
Next on the list, and another Canadian entry, is Nova Scotia. Last year, CNN revealed that Nova Scotia was one of the most popular travel destinations for 2022.
So, it comes as no surprise that more and more people are deciding to check it out in the coming year.
Next up is a classic travel destination, Mexico City. Mexico City is a fantastic hub for foodies as it boasts some of the best restaurants in the world, voted for by several different sources.
Unsurprising entries – a couple of classics
Hawaii is up next on the list of CNBC’S favourite travel spots for 2023. Hawaii made the list of CNN’s best fall destinations, and that is no surprise. However, Hawaii is popular with visitors from all over the world year-round and is known for being one of the friendliest US states.
With stunning beaches and a beautiful culture to experience, it’s no surprise that Hawaii always comes up on the list.
Unsurprisingly, the Disney parks have remained one of the most popular travel destinations for next year. Crowds flock to the different Disney parks in spades every year, and Disney’s Aulani is one of the best spots in Hawaii for kids.
Outside of North America – North Africa and Europe
We’re heading over to North Africa next with Morocco. Since 2002, tourism in Morocco has more than doubled. With an abundance of beautiful architecture and cultural markets, it’s no surprise that it’s one of the most popular travel destinations for 2023.
Next up is Bavaria, Germany. While many are flocking to Germany right now for Oktoberfest, there is no doubt that the popularity will continue into next year.
The last destination on the list is the Orkney Islands in Scotland. An interesting addition to the list, it comes as no surprise thanks to beautiful cliffs and archaeology, as well as the opportunity to spot the aurora borealis.
With its close proximity to mainland Scotland, it’s no surprise that CNN voted the islands as the best travel destination for 2022.
