The Southeastern and Southwestern regions – heading south
The Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee have made the list thanks to the over 100 native tree species, most of which are deciduous, which put on a spectacular display in the Autumn season.

The Pacific Northwest – beauty in the Northwest
