    Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet, in Shanghai, China, is more than just a fancy eatery that serves expensive restaurant dishes; the concept alone makes it the first of its kind.

    Featuring a single table with just ten seats, they do a 20-course tasting menu incorporating multi-sensorial technology and a hefty price tag of $579.

    9. Kobe Beef & Maine Lobster Burger – a Las Vegas speciality

    One of the best things to do in Las Vegas besides gambling, is explore the food scene. If you are in this city and have a spare $777 to spend, we know just the meal for you.

    Why not go to La Burger Brasserie located at The Paris, and grab a Kobe Beef and Maine Lobster burger, which is topped with caramelized onions, brie cheese, crispy prosciutto, 100-year-old balsamic dressing, served with a bottle of Rose Dom Perignon?

    This is the world’s most expensive omelette costing over $1000, but it does contain 20 ounces of Sevruga Caviar – one of the most expensive food items ever!

    This seasonal pizza is available between October and May, making it even more desirable. It contains white truffles, fresh organic buffalo mozzarella and, wait for it – 24-karat gold leaf.

    The price for this gold pizza is ever-changing depending on the availability of white truffles and can cost over $2000. Almost as wild as trying out any of the most crazy food challenges in the world.

    If you are curious about the most expensive meals in the world, then you need to know about the Fleur Burger, served in Las Vegas at the hands of Chef Hubert Keller.

    So why does this expensive meal cost a whopping $5000? It contains Waygu beef – an expensive beef from Japan, expensive truffles and comes with a bottle of 1995 Chateau Petrus.

    Dreamed up by one of the world’s most famous pizza chefs Renato Viola, this pizza is undoubtedly one of a kind, and it is served with Remy Martin Cognac Louis XIII and Champagne Krug Clos du Mesnil 1995.

    You can expect to pay a whopping $15,000 for the Fortress Stilt Fisherman Indulgence, which featured a gold leaf Italian cassata flavoured with Irish cream, pomegranate and mango compote with an 80-carat aquamarine stone.

    Fixed Menu at Guy Savoy Monnaie, Paris: Here, you can indulge in a prix fixe menu of 13 courses for over $500, where you can taste a host of expensive food items such as lobster, duck and black truffles.

    Kyoto Kitcho Arashiyama Fixed Menu: In Kyoto, Japan, you will find a 10-course dining experience for $600 that features the most delectable Japanese dishes.
